Safari now blocks all but latest version of Flash plugin

See on Scoop.it - Mac Gizmos and Apple Gadgets

A little over a month ago, Mozilla has announced that Firefox will be preventing all plug-ins except the current version of Flash from loading automatically, requiring users who explicitly want to use them to start them themselves.

Last week, Apple has decided to do the same with older versions of the Adobe Flash Player plug-in.

Top performing 2013 Mac compatible SSD drive upgrades for Apple MacBook, iMac and Mac mini computers : Intel, Patriot, OCZ, Crucial, SanDisk SSDs

MacGizmoGuy - Russell T. Baer’s insight:

An SSD drive upgrade remains the single best performance enhancer you can give an aging Mac computer. Sadly, Apple’s starting to move away from standard form-factor drives, opting for custom SSD modules on motherboards. But in the meantime a drop-in 2.5” laptop SATA SSD - (with an optional 3.5” adapter for iMac or Mac Pro) is a reasonbly easy DIY project.

Mac Gizmo News At Tumblr

What an insanely great year for Apple. It’s exploding market share for iPad tablets, iPhones and Macintosh desktop and MacBook laptop sales continue to just go, Go, GROW!

Sadly www.macgizmoguy.com site and the rest of my Apple Mac compatible gizmo and gadget sites haven’t followed in lock-step with Apple’s increasing customer base and hardware sales. Google has been pretty rough on a million and one website owners this year, cutting off traffic to us ‘little guys’ and leaving only the big players at the top of search results.

Still, for a quarter of a century - working and yakking about the Mac is what I do, and that ain’t gonna stop even if Google makes it harder to make a living by doing so. But hey, at least TUMBLR has survived Google’s updates and is doing well in search rankings, so I thought I’d stop and visit here.
